Rangiroa offers excellent diving conditions year-round thanks to consistent water temperatures of 77-82°F and minimal rainfall. July through October is peak season for manta ray encounters at Tiputa Pass, though expect slightly higher accommodation rates and more divers during these months. November through March brings warmer, calmer waters with fewer visitors, while April through June offers a balance of good conditions and moderate crowds. The atoll's remote location means it never feels overcrowded, even during high season.

Plan for 4 nights to fully experience Rangiroa's marine environment. Day 1: arrive and acclimate with a lagoon snorkel.
