Pink Sands & British Charm

Three days ashore on an island that redefines the word 'escape.'

Bermuda7 nightsMay: August 20274 ports

Bermuda sails from the New York area through late spring and early summer, and the distinction that matters is berth time: look for three full days docked at the Royal Naval Dockyard rather than a single-day call. Three days and nights is enough to take the island at your own pace: Horseshoe Bay's pink sand, the crystal caves beneath the surface, Front Street's pastel shopfronts in Hamilton, and UNESCO-listed St. George's. The Statue of Liberty sail-away from New York Harbour sets the tone for the rest of it.

The route

01
Day 1 · Embarkation

Cape LibertyUSA (New Jersey)

The embarkation port, just across the harbor from Lower Manhattan. The Statue of Liberty sail-away, passing Lady Liberty as the ship heads to open ocean, is one of the great departure moments in cruising.

What we would arrange

Statue of Liberty scenic cruising as the ship departs New York Harbor

02
Day 3 · 3 days / 3 nights docked

Royal Naval DockyardBermuda

Three full days here. The 19th-century British naval base has been transformed into Bermuda's main port area, with the National Museum, Clocktower Mall, and Snorkel Park beach all within walking distance of the ship.

What we would arrange

Rent a scooter and ride to Horseshoe Bay Beach, the most photographed beach on the island

03
Day 4 · Day trip from Dockyard (ferry)

HamiltonBermuda

The capital city: compact, colorful, and walkable. Front Street's pastel buildings house boutiques, restaurants, and bars. The Bermuda Underwater Exploration Institute is worth the visit.

What we would arrange

Ferry to Hamilton, lunch on Front Street, then a Dark 'n' Stormy at a waterfront bar

04
Day 5 · Day trip from Dockyard (ferry or bus)

St. George'sBermuda

The oldest English settlement in the New World (1612) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Narrow alleys, unfinished churches, and Tobacco Bay, a sheltered cove perfect for snorkeling.

What we would arrange

Walking tour of the UNESCO town followed by snorkeling at Tobacco Bay
